Massage into skin 30 minutes before sun exposure. Re-apply often, especially after swimming.

A chemical ingredient in mainstream sunscreen may be causing  harm to the coral reefs.  Researchers have discovered that the chemical oxybenzone has toxic effects on young coral, it also exacerbates coral bleaching.  Coral reefs house an underwater ecosystem of symbiotic communities.   Many sea creatures rely on the coral reefs for protection and survival.

Therefore because it is important to wear sunscreen to protect one from sun damage and skin cancer, it's imperative consumers consider carefully what sunscreen they buy.   Sunscreens with zinc oxide have NOT been found to harm reefs, so ours is a safe one to use.
